Alanholme is closed to the public for Appleby Horse Fair.

Thursday 5th June - Wednesday 11th June 2025

Our camping field is used by families who have visited the fair for many years and have stayed with us before we became an official campsite.

Please Note - if you plan to visit on the Monday or Tuesday you may be disappointed as there will be very little to see.

Most campsites in the area are booked up each year, anyone wanting to find accommodation for this weekend will probably be looking at Penrith which is about 12 miles from Appleby.
